Bobo-dioulasso: The technical coordinator of the Presidential Initiative for Quality Education for All (IPEQ), Dr. Raymond Ouoba, visited Nazi Boni University to assess the progress of the construction of a 1,000-seat amphitheater and a teaching block on the third floor.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Nazi Boni University is one of the institutions benefiting from the educational infrastructure construction program led by IPEQ. This initiative aligns with the President of Faso's vision to utilize education, especially higher education, as a strategic tool for economic and social development in the country.

The Presidential Initiative plans to construct 40 amphitheaters nationwide over five years. Twelve projects have been initiated since January 2025, as reported by program officials.

In Bobo-Dioulasso, the under-construction complex includes a 1,000-seat amphitheater and an R+3 educational block comprising administrative offices, classrooms with capacities ranging from 50 to 200 seats, tutorial rooms, and laboratories.

The visit is part of the monitoring and evaluation mechanism by IPEQ to ensure project quality and adherence to deadlines. Dr. Raymond Ouoba stated confidence in the progress and expressed assurance from the construction company about meeting the timeline, with three months remaining for completion.

Instructions have been given to the company to provide updated weekly schedules every Friday to enhance technical monitoring. Through these infrastructures, IPEQ aims to improve study conditions for students and working conditions for teachers and staff, contributing to quality education for all.
