The President of the Transition, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, expressed his deep compassion on Saturday evening for Morocco, hit last night by a very deadly earthquake.
“An earthquake struck several provinces of Morocco this early this weekend. The results show several hundred deaths, several hundred injured and significant material damage. In these painful circumstances, I extend my deep sympathy and that of the people of Burkina Faso to His Majesty King Mohammed VI and to the Moroccan people in the face of this tragedy,” President Ibrahim Traoré wrote on X (twitter) on Saturday evening
