‘Engaging all Burkinabè in the patriotic spirit’, theme of a public conference scheduled for April 3 in Ouagadougou

OuagadougouBurkinabè are invited on April 3: what lessons learned of the history of Burkina and what proposals for innovative and sustainable popular actions'. The conference is part of the days of patriotic engagement and citizen participation (JEPPC) and aims to 'strengthen patriotic awareness and citizen engagement', according to the terms of reference of the conference consulted by the AIB. According to the organizers, the conference will provide the opportunity to recall the main lessons learned from patriotic commitment and citizen participation initiatives already carried out in Burkina Faso and other African countries, to propose new actions of patriotic commitment and to citizen participation and to identify the challenges linked to the sustainability of these JEPPCs. The meeting will be held in the conference room of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation were initiated in September 2023 and officially launched by the Head of State, C aptain Ibrahim Traoré, on March 26, 2024.
