Faso Foot Ligue 1: ASFA-Y and ASFB in the Same Leadership Position After 3 Matches

Ouagadougou: The Faso Yennenga Sports Association (ASFA-Y) and the Bobo Civil Servants Sports Association (ASFB) are joint leaders after their victory against AJEB and Real du Faso respectively, at the end of the 3rd day of Faso Foot Ligue 1, played last weekend.

According to Burkina Information Agency, hosting the young hopefuls of Bobo (AJEB), Princess Yennenga's proteges did not miss their chance to occupy the leadership seat. The "Yellow and Green" of Ouagadougou won by the narrowest of margins (1-0). At the same time, the Civil Servants, traveling to the Burkinabe capital, defeated Real du Faso by the same score.

The standings at the end of the 2nd day saw ASFA-Y and ASFB tied at the top with 7 points each, both holding a goal difference of +2. Sporting FC trails closely with 5 points and a goal difference of +2, with AS Douanes also holding 5 points but with a goal difference of +1. CFFEB follows with 4 points and a neutral goal difference, while SC Majestic holds 4 points with a goal difference of -1.

Rahimo FC and Salitas FC both have 3 points, with Rahimo FC having played two fewer matches. EFO, AJEB, and AS SONABEL hold their respective positions with fewer points.
