Faso Presidency Orchestra Marks Inaugural Concert in P´

According to Burkina Information Agency:AMAONO Military Academy in the city of P´, a "historic city from which the Thomas SANKARA Revolution began."

On stage for more than two hours, the orchestra of the Presidency of Faso delivered national works, classical African music, and an international repertoire to a large audience. Dubbed "Concert of Resilience and Triumph," this inaugural performance was described by the High Commissioner of the Nahouri province, Si© Aristide Mohamed KAM, as an act of faith in collective capacity to transcend challenges and uphold values of peace, unity, and dignity.

At the concert's conclusion, Captain Aim© C©saire OU€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬°DRAOGO expressed satisfaction in performing approximately forty works spanning Burkinabe, pan-African, and international origins. He emphasized that the orchestra's revival occurs as the country combats terrorism, suggesting resilience and cultural heritage play a role in this struggle.

Attached to the Special Staff of the Presidency of Faso, the orchestra's missions include ensuring smooth execution of national ceremonies, promoting the Presidency's image, and supporting troops' morale and psychology. The Orchestra of the Presidency of Faso, established by decree on February 13, 2025, by Head of State Captain Ibrahim Traor©, comprises five sections: traditional instruments, rhythm, wind instruments, chordophones, and chorus.
