Friendship Visit to Mali: Prime Minister Explores Cultural and Artistic Treasures

Bamako: On a friendship visit to Bamako, Prime Minister Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ou©draogo devoted part of his stay to exploring the Balla Fassek© Kouyat© Conservatory of Multimedia Arts and Crafts and the National Museum of Mali. At the Conservatory, a true breeding ground for creativity and transmission, the Head of Government discussed with officials the institution's mission to support artists and promote African cultural heritage. On this occasion, he shared Burkina Faso's experience in promoting art through a policy of acquiring works for ministries and public institutions, an initiative that both encourages artistic creation and anchors art in the daily life of the administration.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Prime Minister praised the vision of the initiators of the Conservatory, whose work contributes to promoting local talent and strengthening the role of the arts in identity building and social cohesion.

At the National Museum of Mali, he was able to appreciate the richness of the collections, retracing the history and cultural diversity of the sister country. This immersion was an opportunity for him to highlight the importance of heritage as a foundation of pride and unity for African peoples. In the guestbook, Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ou©draogo praised "the remarkable work accomplished by the managers and teams of this museum to preserve and promote this invaluable heritage, which constitutes a source of inspiration and pride not only for Mali, but also for the whole of Africa and the world."

By immersing himself in this dual artistic and historical heritage, the Head of Government reaffirmed the desire of Burkina Faso and Mali to build stronger cooperation, where culture, along with political and security solidarity, remains a pillar of integration within the AES Confederation.
