Ganzourgou: 38.12% Success Rate in the First Round of the 2025 Baccalaureate

Ganzourgou: The success rate in the first round of the 2025 baccalaureate in the province of Ganzourgou stands at 38.12%, according to data communicated by the Provincial Directorate of Secondary Education, Vocational and Technical Training (DPESFPT).

According to Burkina Information Agency, a total of 981 candidates took part in the first round of examinations in series A4 and D. Of these, 374 were declared automatically admitted.

The A4 series recorded the best results with 343 candidates present, including 230 girls and 113 boys. Of this total, 267 were automatically admitted, representing a success rate of 77.84%. Girls achieved the best results with 169 admitted compared to 98 boys.

In contrast, Series D has a lower success rate. Of the 638 candidates present (357 girls and 281 boys), only 107 were declared automatically admitted, for an overall rate of 16.77%. The success rate for girls is 11.2% compared to 23.8% for boys.

All series combined, girls recorded a success rate of 35.6% compared to 41.9% for boys.

Furthermore, 256 candidates (155 girls and 101 boys) are authorized to take part in the second round tests, distributed as follows: 200 for series D and 56 for series A4. The holding of the second round therefore promises to be decisive for many candidates in search of the precious sesame.
