Ganzourgou BEPC 2025 Success Rate Reaches 49.93%

Zorgho: The province of Ganzourgou recorded an overall success rate of 49.93% in the 2025 session of the First Cycle Studies Certificate (BEPC) exam, according to the final results announced at the end of the second round.

According to Burkina Information Agency, out of a total of 3,043 registered candidates, 2,996 actually took part in the exams, including 1,025 boys and 1,971 girls. In the first round, 973 candidates were declared successful, comprising 440 boys and 533 girls.

In the second round, among the 1,496 candidates allowed to continue, 523 obtained their certificate, with 172 boys and 351 girls passing. This brings the total number of admitted candidates in the province to 1,496, including 612 boys and 884 girls. The success rate for boys stands at 59.71% compared to 44.85% for girls.

In terms of jury performance, the Boudry 1 jury ranks first with a success rate of 55.66%, closely followed by the M©guet 2 jury with 55.14%. The Mogt©do 1 jury recorded the lowest success rate in the province with 39.69%.

In technical and vocational options, Zorgho hosted two secondary composition centers. The center for the Brevet d'©tudes professionnelles (BEP) in metal welding recorded a success rate of 82.86%, with 29 candidates admitted out of 35 present. Meanwhile, the center for the Certificate of Professional Aptitude (CAP) in agronomy posted a success rate of 78.95%, with 15 candidates admitted out of 19.

The provincial director in charge of secondary education, vocational and technical training in Ganzourgou, Barth©l©mie Boudaon©, expressed his satisfaction with the smooth running of the session. He praised the commitment and dedication of all those involved in organizing the exams, with a special mention to the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and health workers who ensured the safety and good health of the candidates throughout the session.

"I am delighted with the results. I congratulate all the winners and hope that this certificate brings them happiness. I encourage them to stay the course because there is much to come," he said. He also sent a message of encouragement to those who failed, urging them to redouble their efforts to succeed in the upcoming sessions.
