Civil society organisations decried Gaza hospital carnage which claimed the lives of hundreds of children, women and men amid international silence. The Tunisian Network to Fight Normalisation urged the Tunisian people, in the wake of a blast which targeted al-Mamdani hospital in Gaza, to participate in a sit-in protest Wednesday in front of the US embassy in Tunis to demand an immediate end to Zionist atrocities against the Palestinian people. This mass slaughter laid bare the western racism and support for the violation of the rights and liberties of the Palestinian people, the network said. The Tunisian Association for the Support of Minorities called on "active forces in the world to demand the prosecution of the zionist government led by the criminal Netanyahou for crimes against humanity" and protest to bring an immediate end to the aggression and the blockade imposed on Palestinian territories. The civil society organisation urged the United Nations to commence procedures to announce a sovereign Palestinian state with Al-Quds as capital. The General Union of Health, the General Union of University Hospital Doctors and Dentists called for a sit-in Wednesday in all hospital facilities in solidarity with the Palestinian people. Over 800 Palestinians were killed Tuesday and hundreds sustained injuries in a blast at Almamdani hospital in Gaza.
