Kénédougou: The High Commissioner of the Kénédougou province, Saïdou Sakira, chaired the 14th ordinary general meeting of the Orodara People's Fund on Thursday, April 24, 2025, in Orodara. The results of the activities carried out in 2024 were deemed satisfactory.According to Burkina Information Agency, the ordinary general meeting of the Orodara People's Fund was held under the chairmanship of Saïdou Sakira. The meeting provided an opportunity for organizers to review the results of activities carried out in 2024, to formulate perspectives, and to proceed with the renewal of the bodies.The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Caisse populaire de Orodara, Oumar Traoré, stated that the general meeting is the supreme body where members acknowledge the balance sheet and make decisions. He noted that it serves as a crucial platform for the democratic expression of cooperative life, forming the basis of governance in the caisse populaire community.Mariam Sya, representative of the technical director of the West and Southwest credit union network, noted that the credit union conducted its activities in 2024 under challenging conditions, yet the results were satisfactory. She highlighted that the umbrella organization of Burkina Faso's popular funds, to which the Orodara fund belongs, is committed to ensuring continuous, high-quality service for full member satisfaction.Saïdou Sakira extended his congratulations and encouragement to the members, managers, and staff of the savings and credit cooperative for their contributions and efforts. He emphasized that while the journey to combating poverty is long, the Orodara People's Fund serves as a beacon of hope for the population.
