The first vice-president of the special delegation of the commune of Fada N'Gourma, Ernest Natama, chaired the opening ceremony of the annual educational conference of teachers of the two Basic Education Districts (CEB) of the said city, this Tuesday, September 10, 2024 in the city of Yendabili.For years now, our country has been suffering from attacks by armed terrorist groups that have brought mourning to many families and significantly affected our education system.It is in this context that the annual pedagogical conference of primary school teachers for the year 2024 is being held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.Placed under the theme "The appropriation of the contents of the CE curricula and their practical implementation in the classes", the session which will last four (04) days aims to train teachers in the use of curricula.Specifically, they will need to take ownership of the content of the curriculum and their supporting tools, develop educational sheets, conduct lessons using the API appro ach and take ownership of the development, administration and correction of integration situations.In view of the relevance of the theme of this educational conference, the Head of the Basic Education District (CCEB) of Fada N'Gourma 1, Ahadi Idani, invited the participants to be diligent and to commit themselves to the work through frank and fruitful debates so that the objectives of this session are achieved.The regional director in charge of Primary Education in the East, Yentéma David Thiombiano, added that the present theme of the conference is in line with the government's policy which has consisted for some time in the reform of curricula.According to him, we cannot bring about a qualitative change without focusing on the women and men who are responsible for implementing these reforms.'Hence the reason for training sessions such as this platform for the benefit of practitioners that they are,' concluded the regional director.The vice-president of the special delegation of the commune of Fada N'Gourma took this opportunity to salute the resilience shown by these educators despite adversity.Source: Burkina Information Agency
