Ziro: The Ziro Provincial Directorate of Youth, Vocational Training and Employment witnessed a momentous transition in Sapouy with the handover of service from outgoing director Tell© Jo«l Zongnaaba to his successor, S©kou Sabo. This change marks a significant moment for the province.
According to Burkina Information Agency, after a decade of dedicated service, Mr. Zongnaaba delivered an overview of the achievements made under his leadership, focusing on youth and employability in the region. In his farewell address, he expressed gratitude towards his colleagues, superiors, family, and friends for their unwavering support throughout his tenure.
The incoming director, S©kou Sabo, expressed his appreciation for the trust vested in him, while seeking support from administrative authorities, community members, and the youth. He committed to building upon the work of his predecessor and invigorating the province's youth services.
Adams Davou, the Secretary General of the province and representative of the High Commissioner, commended Mr. Zongnaaba for his loyal service. He assured Mr. Sabo of the provincial administration's readiness to aid him in his new responsibilities.
The ceremony exuded warmth as Mr. Zongnaaba's relatives, friends, and colleagues presented him with symbolic gifts, acknowledging his contributions and expressing their gratitude. Mr. Sabo was warmly congratulated by fellow provincial directors, NGO representatives, youth associations, community leaders, and family members, all present to support his new journey.
This transition opens a new chapter for the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Employment in Ziro, promising a hopeful future for the province's youth. S©kou Sabo was appointed by the Council of Ministers on May 25, 2025.
