Nouna: The High Commissioner of Kossi Province, Noufo Dembelé, urged civil servants to exemplify integrity and dedication in their duties during a flag-raising ceremony on June 10, 2025, attended by administrative, military, paramilitary, traditional, and customary authorities.According to Burkina Information Agency, the event, organized by the High Commission of Kossi Province, aimed to reinforce traditional values through the symbolic raising of the colors, an event that rotates among different services. Originally planned for June 3, 2025, the ceremony was rescheduled to take place at the town hall in Nouna.During the ceremony, following the introductory remarks by Souleymane Tiono, President of the special delegation of the commune of Nouna, Noufo Dembelé emphasized the importance of setting a positive example in public service. He also encouraged social cohesion and urged household heads to foster harmony within families.Additionally, Noufo Dembelé invited the community to participate in Tree Day o n June 21, 2025, calling for widespread support to assist technical environmental services in ensuring the event's success.
