Koudougou: The Renaissance sportive de Berkane (RS Berkane) of Morocco, led by Burkinabe player Issoufou Dayo, clinched the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Cup on Sunday evening. They triumphed over the Simba team from Congo, which features another Burkinabe, Valentin Nouma.
According to Burkina Information Agency, RS Berkane secured the title after a two-legged confrontation between the teams. In the first leg held last week, the Moroccan team secured a victory with a score of 2-0. The second leg ended in a 1-1 draw, ensuring RS Berkane's overall win.
Issoufou Dayo, a Burkinabe international, celebrated his third continental trophy with RS Berkane. His leadership and contributions were instrumental in this achievement, marking another milestone in his career as he represents Burkina Faso on the continental stage.
