Kenya: Closing the 2nd East African Regional Education Conference

Kenya: The 2nd East African Regional Education Conference has concluded with a focus on fostering resilience and developing future-ready education systems for sustainable development. The conference, aimed at strengthening educational frameworks across East Africa, highlighted the importance of building systems that will have a lasting impact on learners throughout the region.According to African Press Organization, a closed-door Ministerial Committee session was held where PS Ololtuaa joined fellow Ministers and senior education officials from the region. The session resulted in the ratification of a Joint Communiqué, which outlines agreed actions for Member States to implement before the 3rd Conference, scheduled to be hosted in Kampala, Uganda.The conference reaffirmed the region's shared resolve to enhance educational systems, ensuring they are equipped to meet future challenges. This commitment underscores the collaborative efforts of East African nations to improve educational outcomes and support s ustainable development across the region.
