Kourittenga: The educational community of the Kokemnor© public primary school held its day of excellence on Saturday, August 2, 2025, within the school grounds. The activity was held under the high patronage of His Majesty Naaba Laltanga of Kokemnor©, in the presence of representatives of Naaba Yemd©, the Kourit-Yir-Soaba, the teaching staff, and parents of students.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the students of the Kokemnor© public primary school saw their efforts rewarded on Saturday, August 2, 2025, through a day of excellence. The school achieved a 100% success rate in this 2025 session of the Primary School Certificate (CEP) exams. Five top students from each class received school supplies as a reward.
The principal of Kokomnor© Primary School, Somnoma Ou©draogo, said that the 100% rate was a challenge that the school's teachers had set themselves at the beginning of the school year. "Last year, we achieved 100% success and we had to stay the course no matter what," the school principal suggested. Somnoma Ou©draogo indicated that the entire staff has once again invested themselves so that we can achieve this result which makes the parents, the students themselves, and us proud.
"We have benefited from the support of the parents of students and the Chief of Kokemnor© and we express our deep gratitude to them. In view of the current level of students who will soon be candidates for the CEP exams for the 2026 session, we hope to maintain the same rate and continue in this direction," he said.
The Head of the Koup©la 1 Basic Education District (CCEB), Christophe Yam©ogo, congratulated the teaching staff for their efforts and also urged parents to become more involved in monitoring and supporting their children. "Next year, new modules will be integrated into schools across the country," he said.
