Namentenga: Members of the Kolomdogom association of Dargo presented on Friday, October 3, 2025 in Boulsa, through the High Commissioner of the province of Namentenga, Adama Conseiga, a painting to the commander of the Cheetah unit, Gerard Sindogo for his work in the locality, in terms of security.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the gesture was made as a sign of gratitude for the commander's efforts in recapturing the communal territory of Dargo. Daniel Zidouemba, president of the Kolomdogom association, emphasized the sacrifices made by the Cheetah unit and its commander in ensuring security in the region.
In response, Commander Gerard Sindogo expressed his appreciation for the recognition and requested continued support from the community to achieve the complete restoration of Dargo's communal territory. He highlighted the importance of collaboration in maintaining security in the area.
The presentation of the painting was also an occasion for both the Kolomdogom association and the Cheetah unit to discuss strategies aimed at enhancing effectiveness on the ground. This exchange of views is expected to bolster efforts in securing the region.
