Koudougou: The Koudougou Regional Hospital Center (CHR) has received a significant boost in its ability to handle power outages with the donation of a 150 kVA generator from Jean-Baptiste Kiendrebeogo, a prominent economic operator.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the hospital has been facing challenges due to a heatwave that has intensified electricity demands, leading to frequent power cuts. These disruptions have particularly affected the hospital's most vulnerable services. In response to these challenges, the management of the Koudougou Hospital Center issued a call for assistance from local economic players.
Jean-Baptiste Kiendrebeogo, President and CEO of CHIC HOTEL, was quick to respond to this appeal. He provided the hospital with a 150 kVA generator, a move that has been recognized as a significant contribution. While acknowledging that the generator does not cover all the hospital's electricity needs, Kiendrebeogo expressed his commitment to further support the hospital with larger-capacity equipment in the upcoming months.
The General Management of CHR expressed profound gratitude to Kiendrebeogo for his donation, praising it as an exemplary act of civic responsibility. They also called upon other volunteers to help enhance the hospital's capability to meet its public service obligations.
