When we return, we will be able to prove to others the grace that we received at the end of this camp," he said.Another participant from Fada N'gourma, Possibo Tankoano, added that the camp allowed her to expand her fait h and know Christ better in order to positively impact her society."I want to be a role model among my peers so that I can evangelize them when I return," continued Ms. Tankoano.According to the National President of the Children and Adolescents Department of SIM churches in Burkina Faso, Alain Lompo, the camp aims to prepare adolescents in the faith to be leaders in the future."The main theme of the camp is taken from Timothy 1 chapter 4 verse 12 where Paul exhorts Timothy and says: Let no one master your youth but be an example for the believers in speech, in love, in faith and in purity. So, we want through this camp that our children are also models in their ways of living as adolescents," he indicated.Pastor Foldjia Jonathan Ouoba, representative of the national president of SIM churches in Burkina Faso, was delighted with the mobilization and interest that adolescents have in the work of the Lord.'We have seen the teenagers very passionate and attached to the word of God and as a Pastor, this is only satisfaction. We all know that teenagers are the builders of the Church so we have the duty to supervise them, strengthen them and lead them to be the leaders of the church of tomorrow,' he said.At the end of this national camp, the teenagers will be equipped on the responsible use of new technologies.Source: Burkina Information Agency
