Kuzemdjua Association Donates Vital Equipment to Tangassogo Health Center

Nahouri: An association provides the Tangassogo CSPS with medical-technical equipment. The President of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of Tiebele, Aime Gue, received, this Wednesday, October 22, 2025, medical-technical equipment for the benefit of the Health and Social Promotion Center (CSPS) of the village of Tangassogo, a locality located about ten km south of T®ebele. This donation is the initiative of the Kuzemdjua association of the nationals of Tangassogo.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the donation, consisting of 10 hospital mattresses and 3 blood pressure monitors, was handed over on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, to the Health and Social Promotion Center (CSPS) of the village of Tangassogo. This initiative was led by the Kuzemdjua association, which is composed of residents from Tangassogo.

"We noticed that the mattresses at the CSPS were in a very poor state of disrepair and we, the daughters and sons of the locality, must make our contribution to improving the quality of care for our parents. This is what motivated us to make this small donation," explained Dr. Issouf Adikoabou, president of the association.

Aime Gue, the president of the special delegation of T®ebele, expressed that the donation is part of a larger effort to enhance the health and social well-being of the population. He noted that it removes "a big thorn in our side."

The president of the CSPS management committee, Phillipe J. Setanga, also expressed satisfaction, highlighting that the donation provides much-needed relief to the health center, as the existing mattresses were in severe disrepair.

"We are pleased with this act, which has saved an entire village. We express our deepest thanks to the donors. We also wish the association every success in fulfilling its noble missions," remarked CSPS Major Bougasse Abetiga.

Additionally, the Kuzemdjua association has taken another step to support the community by opening a pharmaceutical depot in the village, aimed at reducing the burden on residents who previously had to travel extensive distances, even crossing borders, to obtain health products.
