Local elections candidate for the Zatfoura constituency (North Jendouba delegation) Ali Ghazouani undertakes in his programme to finish off the drinking water project, reopen the closed public institutions and improve services.The candidate further promises to upgrade the roads leading to the Sidi Hammouda, El Htaytia and Ateb villages and protect them from runoff water, and lay out agricultural paths in El Amerya, Ouled El Haj and El Araissia villages.The candidate also pledges to reopen the closed public institutions such as the basic health centre, the agricultural outreach unit, set up a post office, extend the electricity network, exploit the region's irrigated perimeters and create others thanks to the Barbra dam.Ghazouani further proposed to preserve the natural water sources such as Ain Barbek and Ain E Marji, construct a kindergarten and a youth centre and help the young people set up small projects adapted to this region.
