Loroum: The Titao examination board announced the results of the First Cycle Studies Certificate (BEPC) on Sunday, June 15, 2025, with a success rate of 70.55% recorded.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the overall results for the BEPC in Loroum province for the 2025 session showed a success rate of 70.55% across two centers. These centers include the provincial high school of Loroum located in Titao and the Yamwaya high school in Ouahigouya, which hosted internally displaced students.
A total of 257 students, comprising 170 girls and 87 boys, took the exam. Out of these, 120 girls and 62 boys passed, resulting in a success rate of 70.55%. The success rate for girls was 70.59%, while boys achieved a rate of 71.26%.
At the Titao 1 center, which is based in Titao, 109 candidates participated, including 81 girls and 28 boys, achieving a success rate of 90.83%.
Since December 2021, Loroum province has been facing a security crisis, causing the relocation of some school staff to Ouahigouya. However, due to security efforts on the ground, the gradual return of populations allowed the examinations to be conducted smoothly in the province.
