The High Commissioner of the province of Loroum, Djibril Bassolé, met on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 in Ouahigouya, with the key players of the commune of Sollé, with a view to agreeing on initiatives to be developed to strengthen the resilience of the populations and increase security in the locality.The High Commissioner of the province of Loroum, Djibril Bassolé, who had at his side the president of the special delegation and the chief doctor of Titao, spoke, on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 in Ouahigouya, with the vital forces of the commune of Sollé.'We were able to discuss the concerns of the community. We are at war and there are many concerns in the areas of education, health and security,' said High Commissioner Bassolé.The first vice-president of the commune, Amadou Kindo, welcomed the initiative."We really appreciated this approach which allowed us to discuss the concerns of the municipality. I would like to take this opportunity to salute the commitment of the driving forces of Sollé fo r the momentum of supporting the authorities in their efforts to reclaim the territory," he noted.As for Ousmane Nacanabo, a local resident, he called on his sons and daughters to unite and become even more involved in the fight for the liberation of the territory.'We hope that the situation will improve so that the people of Sollé can get out of this difficult situation,' said the communal coordinator of women in Sollé, Mamouna Ganamé.The commune of Sollé, located around forty kilometers from Titao, is the victim of incursions by armed groups.Faced with the worrying security situation, populations are organizing and building a form of resistance.On Friday, September 6, 2024, they handed over a contribution to the war effort to the governor of the Northern region.Source: Burkina Information Agency
