L©raba: The High Commissioner of the L©raba Province, Yacouba Sawadogo, extended an invitation to the people of L©raba on Friday, April 18, 2025, in Sindou, urging them to explore the province's tourist sites. This call to action was made during the launch of Burkinab© Heritage Month.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the event commenced with the raising of the national flag at the High Commission's grounds, accompanied by the singing of Ditany¨ by the High Commissioner and local community leaders. Yacouba Sawadogo also delivered a message from the Head of State, as part of the activities marking the launch of Burkinab© heritage events in Bobo Dioulasso on April 17, 2025.
The theme for this year's Burkinab© Heritage Month is "Cultural Heritage and Economic Development," and it spans from April 18 to May 18, 2025. High Commissioner Sawadogo encouraged the community to introduce their children and visitors to the province's tourist attractions, emphasizing the event's role in celebrating cultural heritage and national identity.
This initiative marks the third edition since the establishment of Burkinab© Heritage Month in April 2023, aiming to honor and preserve the nation's cultural legacy.
