Namentenga: The Organization of Sport and Culture in Primary Schools (OSCEP) 2025 edition of the Basic Education District (CEB) concluded its annual sporting and cultural activities on Saturday. The event, held under the theme "Sport and culture in primary schools, a factor of social cohesion in a context of resilience," marked the end of the school year with a competitive football match.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the highlight of the event was the football match where Malanga school emerged victorious against Boulsa 'C' school with a score of one goal to zero. The triumph was celebrated as Malanga school received the winning trophy from K©br© Moustapha, the second vice-president of the special delegation of the Boulsa commune.
K©br© Moustapha expressed his congratulations on behalf of the special municipal delegation to the CCEB and all contributors for ensuring the success of the OSCEP 2025 in CEB Boulsa 1. He dedicated the victory specifically to the teachers who played a crucial role in this achievement.
In addition to the football event, the results of the cultural activities were announced by Charles Zongo, head of the basic education district (CCEB) of Boulsa1. He dedicated the success of these activities to all CEB stakeholders who contributed significantly. Boulsa 'C' school excelled in theater, while Bonam students won top prizes in traditional dance, humor, and storytelling. Boulsa A school secured first prizes in traditional-modern dance and fashion show.
Prizes, both in kind and cash, were distributed to the winners. The initiative saw over two million CFA francs being raised through contributions from CEB partners, sponsors, and teachers to support the cultural and sporting events.
