Manga Residents Prepare Warm Welcome for President Traor©

Manga: The people of Manga, in the Centre-South region, expressed their joy on Friday at welcoming the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, promising to give him a welcome worthy of his rank.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the mission officer at the Presidency of Faso, Wendpassamd© Thierry Niki¨ma, stated that the city has been eagerly anticipating the visit of the Head of State for several years.

"It is both a relief and a source of pride to learn that the president will be in Manga tomorrow. We will be delighted to meet him face to face," he said. The mission leader revealed that for the past two days, an information and mobilization campaign has been taking place in the city's streets to welcome the head of state "in Mangalese style."

Edwige Bouda, a member of the Citizen Watch, expressed the community's excitement, stating, "All the women are standing to welcome the president tomorrow with love and respect, and to congratulate him, since this is his first time in Manga since his arrival." She emphasized the president's reputation as a leader who listens to women and expressed wishes for his long life due to his contributions to the people.

Ousmane Drabo, an entrepreneur residing in Manga since 2001, shared the city's anticipation, noting that the community has been in a state of excitement for the past three days. He mentioned that the local populace is working hard to prepare for the president's arrival.

The President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, will tour the Centre-South region on Saturday, June 11, 2025. His schedule includes launching the reforestation campaign for medicinal plant groves in Guiba, meeting with key regional figures in Manga, and presiding over the official graduation of the 24th class of the Georges Namoano military academy in the city of P´.
