Ouagadougou: Development stakeholders in the commune of Manni, in the province of Gnagna held, Thursday June 13, 2024 in Manni, the first session of the Communal Consultation Framework (CCC) of the said locality. The work made it possible to reflect on better coordination of socio-economic activities and to revisit the Annual Investment Plan for the current year.The very first ordinary session of the Communal Consultation Framework (CCCo) of Manni in the province of Gnagna, Eastern region, was held on June 13, 2024 in the 'wisdom plus' meeting room of Manni. This session was intended to be a framework for exchanges between development stakeholders in the municipality for better coordination of socio-economic activities planned in the areas of health, nutrition, water and sanitation.It appears from the communication from the Secretary General of the town hall of Manni, Lazare COULDIATI, that the town is full of several projects and programs. They mainly operate in the fields of education, health, social ac tion, agriculture and food security. The mapping of established partners highlights around twenty projects and programs operating in the commune of Manni.The 2024 annual investment plan (PAI) of the municipality of Manni amounts to 303 million of our francs. In addition to the acquisitions, we can cite among others the realization of 8 boreholes, the rehabilitation of the vaccination park, the construction of a complete CSPS in Tiamgnalgou, the rehabilitation of classrooms and the administrative building at the Manni departmental high school and the construction of 25 street shops in Manni.According to Ablassé Nianda of the social service of the town of Manni, there are 9,026 internally displaced people, i.e. 803 households made up of 1,936 men, 2,495 women and 4,595 children. Needs for shelter, blankets, mats, AME kits, food, health care and Dignity Kits must be listed.In terms of health, the Manni health district has 20 CSPS and 1 Medical Center for a total of 302,655 inhabitants. According to the Ped iatric Health Attaché at the CM of Manni, Daniel Tampougou, the food and nutritional situation in the municipality has proven to be worrying in view of the security context. The major difficulties are the closure of health facilities or their functioning at a minimum, the shortage of inputs. To overcome all these difficulties, Daniel Tampougou pleaded for support from the authorities.At the end of the discussions, the first vice-president of the special Manni delegation, Viviane Bourgou, expressed her satisfaction for the contribution of the members of the framework to the debates while inviting them to greater commitment for the emergence of the community.As a reminder, the consultation framework was carried out thanks to the support of the Civil Society Network for Nutrition (RESONUT) through the RIGTH2GROW program.Source: Burkina Information Agency
