Maouloud 2024: Monday, September 16 declared a paid holiday

The Ministry in charge of the Civil Service, indicated that the day of Monday, September 16, 2024, will be a paid day off throughout the national territory, due to Mouloud celebrated this Sunday, according to a press release received by AIB."It is brought to the attention of workers and employers in the public and private sectors that in accordance with the announcement of the Federation of Islamic Associations of Burkina (FAIB), the Maouloud festival will be celebrated on Sunday, September 15, 2024," informs the document from the department in charge of the Civil Service.Consequently, Monday, September 16, 2024 is declared a paid day off throughout the national territory, the same source specifies.The structures of the sectors with continuous activities must organize themselves so as to be able to ensure the minimum necessary service, the press release adds.Source: Burkina Information Agency
