Massoud Pezeshkian has been elected the 9th president of Iran, according to the final results announced by the Iranian Interior Ministry.The official results of the 14th presidential election:Total votes counted: 30,530,157Massoud Pezeshkian: 16,384,403Said Jalili: 13,538,179Polling stations opened on Friday (July 5, 2024), in Tehran as in other Iranian cities and villages, for the second round of the 14th presidential election, between Massoud Pezeshkian and Saïd Jalili in the race for the succession of Ebrahim Raïssi, died in May in a helicopter accident.The first round of the 14th Iranian presidential election was held on Friday (June 28, 2024), and according to the official results announced by the Ministry of the Interior, Massoud Pezeshkian with 10,415,991 votes and Said Jalili with 9,473,298 votes face each other in the second round of the presidential election.Source: Burkina Information Agency
