Minister Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo launches his department’s sports season

Ouagadougou: Minister of State, Minister of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo launched Thursday at the Burkinabè Copyright Office (BBDA) in Ouagadougou , the sports season of his department, we noted.This sports season is placed under the theme 'the practice of sport as a factor of well-being and cohesion within the Ministry of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism'.Minister Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo, who was accompanied for this launch by his colleague in charge of sports Dr. Boubakar Savadogo and the special guest, the former Stallion Jonathan Pitroipa, said that the theme is 'perfectly consistent with our vision, which is to make sport and leisure instruments of rapprochement, cohesion and well-being of workers'.He marked this launch of the sports season with a shot on goal (which he scored with skill worthy of a football professional) on the BBDA plateau. These sporting and leisure activities will be an opportunity for the numerous ministry workers to meet an d compete in enthusiasm and talent through various disciplines such as football, games of scrabble, checkerboard, cards and pétanque.There will also be aerobics sessions which will periodically bring together the department's stakeholders within the different structures in order to improve their physical and mental well-being.Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo recalled that physical activity is 'a powerful integration tool at the service of people and institutions, which deserves to be used effectively in our department'.For the minister in charge of sports, Boubakar Savadogo, 'sport is health.
