Mouhoun: The commune of Safan© honored on Saturday, June 21, 2025, the initiative launched by the President of Faso, "The Patriotic Hour to Green Faso," through active participation. The president of the special delegation, Ali Traor©, joined the NGO Terre des Hommes, the Water and Forestry Services, and local stakeholders to plant 4,000 seedlings.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this initiative, supported by the highest national authorities, aims to strengthen ecological awareness and gradually restore the country's vegetation cover.
In his message to the population, the president of the special delegation, Ali Traor©, called on every citizen to fully engage in the dynamics of reforestation, emphasizing the importance of harmony between man and his environment.
"We live in symbiosis with our natural environment. It is essential that concrete community actions be taken to preserve this balance," he said.
Around 4,000 plants were planted on three sites set up for the occasion, illustrating the strong commitment of the commune of Safan© to a greener and more resilient Faso.
