Mouhoun Prefecture Cleaned by Patriotic Immersion Graduates

Mouhoun: As part of the Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation, the conscripts of the patriotic immersion in the commune of Kona conducted a sanitation operation on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at the prefecture and the residence of the Prefect. This civic action was praised by Ali Sanou, the President of the special delegation of the commune.

According to Burkina Information Agency, following their notable involvement during the official launch of the Patriotic Commitment and Civic Participation Days (PEPPC), the young people from the first class of patriotic immersion carried out a vast sanitation operation within the prefecture and the Prefect's residence. Equipped with hoes, rakes, and machetes, they meticulously cleaned the courtyard and the surroundings of the prefect's residence.

The operation involved removing invasive weeds and clearing debris, which restored brightness and conviviality to the institutional setting. This gesture reflects the desire of the young people of Kona to be part of the national dynamic of strengthening patriotism and active citizenship.

By addressing the daily challenges of their community, these future builders of the Nation demonstrate their willingness to contribute to improving the living environment and the influence of their community. Ali Sanou expressed his gratitude to the conscripts, acknowledging their efforts as a sign of the youth's readiness to contribute to the construction of a new Burkina Faso.

The conscripts involved in the operation expressed their awareness of the challenges facing the Nation and reaffirmed their commitment to work towards building a more united and prosperous Burkina through such actions. They plan to extend these efforts to other public places in the municipality, aiming to make the Patriotic Commitment Days a springboard for unity and local development.
