Nahouri: The High Commissioner of the province of Nahouri, Si© Aristide Mohamed Kam, officially launched the distribution of long-lasting impregnated mosquito nets (LLINs) in P´. The initiative aims to distribute 138,350 mosquito nets across the province as a preventive measure against malaria.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the launch took place at a distribution site located at Goulou radio in sector No. 6 of P´. The High Commissioner, alongside the management team of the health district of P´, spearheaded the distribution event. The campaign targets delivering 138,350 mosquito nets to households throughout Nahouri.
Post-launch, Mr. Kam commended the community's active participation and enthusiasm in the initiative. He emphasized the importance of utilizing the mosquito nets effectively to safeguard against malaria. Furthermore, Dr. Boukar© Wanr©, the head physician of the health district, confirmed that teams and resources have been allocated across the province to ensure the campaign's success.
