A pregnant woman from the village of Koubouré drowned with her daughter in the backwater of the said village. The latter went to fetch water for her family, AIB learned .Koubouré is a village in the commune of Boulsa located around ten km to the South-East .The backwater, called " Allay banka " or the backwater of Abdoulaye) in which the pregnant mother and her 10-year-old daughter drowned, is located not far from the houses .About two meters deep , it was dug by the population to facilitate the supply of drinking water , the making of bricks and the watering of animals.According to relatives , the girl and her friend had gone to fetch water for their mothers. Unaware of the risky areas of the swamp, the victim ended up after slipping into deep water.Seeing that he was not moving, his friend went to inform his mother who came and instinctively dove into the swamp to save her child.
