The consortium of associations working in the field of sanitation under the leadership of the Wendkouni association, in collaboration with the Medical Center with surgical antenna (CMA) of Boulsa, sanitized on September 15, 2024, the premises of said health center in the province of Namentenga, in the Center-North region.Nearly fifteen associations, members of the "Zero Plastic Bags" network and the staff of the Boulsa CMA, responsible for the cleanliness of the premises, have joined forces to clean up the health center invaded by weeds.Using rakes, cuffs, shovels and wheelbarrows, members of the Wendkouni association and their partners cleared the CMA courtyard of shrubs and piles of rubbish."This gesture makes the living environment pleasant and will keep both the staff and users of the CMA away from possible reptile bites or mosquito bites," said the District Chief Medical Officer (MCD) of the CMA of Boulsa, Emile Compaoré.MCD Compaoré also thanked the associations for their support in matters of sanitation.The president of the Wendkouni association and president of the network, Dieudonné Nonaba congratulated the members, the CMA and all those who gave them their support for the success of the sanitation day.Mr. Nonaba also invited members to make the promotion of 'Zero plastic bags' their hobby horse in their respective circles.Source: Burkina Information Agency
