Namentenga Province Sets Ambitious Goal to Mobilize 33,000 Shareholders by 2026

Namentenga: The province of Namentenga is embarking on an ambitious strategy to mobilize 33,000 shareholders by the end of January 2026, with the aim of collecting a total of 330 million CFA francs. The High Commissioner of Namentenga, Adama Conseiga, engaged with volunteers from the Agency for the Promotion of Community Entrepreneurship (APEC) to discuss the implementation of this mobilization strategy across the province's eight communes.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the strategy includes organizing a series of events known as the "72 hours of APEC" in the province, scheduled from June 29 to July 1. These events, along with consultations with various socio-professional groups, are part of the efforts to meet the target of 33,000 subscribers by 2026.

High Commissioner Adama Conseiga expressed his commitment to supporting volunteers in achieving these objectives and emphasized the importance of providing accurate information to potential shareholders in the province. For logistical support, Issaka Sangla, President of the special delegation of the commune of Boulsa, offered a room for use as an office, a tricycle, and a small sound system.

APEC Provincial Supervisor Julien Mand© expressed gratitude to the High Commissioner and provincial directors, including Patrice Bationo in charge of employment and Moussa Ilboudo in charge of sports, for their active support. Participants at the event also requested that APEC products, such as tomatoes, be made available in the market square to boost local commerce.

High Commissioner Conseiga further encouraged volunteers to offer precise information to the community and to seek guidance from resource persons when needed. He also urged the community to warmly welcome the volunteers and to actively participate in community entrepreneurship initiatives.
