Passoré/: The Secretary General of the Passoré Province (SGP), Noélie Berehoumdougou/Kaboré, officially installed the new Provincial Director of Youth and Employment of Passoré, Augustin Sama, in his new position on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, in Yako. He promised to be available and determined to address the challenges facing youth in the province.According to Burkina Information Agency, the new provincial director of youth and employment of Passoré, Augustin Sama, took office on Wednesday, July 3, 2025, in Yako, in the presence of the constituted bodies, friends, and future collaborators. Sama expressed his willingness to be alongside the population to gather their expectations and guide them towards concrete solutions.Sama thanked the highest authorities of the country for the confidence placed in him to lead the provincial direction in charge of Youth of Passoré. He replaces the outgoing Director, Windingoudi Augustin Ouédraogo, and congratulated his predecessor for the sacrifice made during the eight y ears at the head of the provincial leadership.Ouédraogo reflected on his tenure with a sense of accomplishment, highlighting achievements such as training over 4,000 young people and women in entrepreneurship, 1,200 in financial education, and educating 5,000 young people on civics and citizenship.The SGP of Passoré, Noélie Berehoumdougou/Kaboré, extended congratulations on behalf of the High Commissioner of Passoré to Windingoudi Augustin Ouédraogo for the work accomplished and performances achieved despite the difficulties encountered. Ms. Berehoumdougou reassured the new director of the availability and support of all the constituted bodies of the province to support him in achieving his missions, namely the promotion of youth entrepreneurship, vocational training, and employment.As a reminder, Augustin Sama was appointed in the Council of Ministers on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, as the new Director of Youth and Employment in Passoré.
