President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and current Chairman of the Conference of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of East African States West (ECOWAS) has convened a new Extraordinary Summit of the Conference on the political situation in the Republic of Niger. The said Summit is scheduled to take place in Abuja, Nigeria on Thursday, August 10, 2023.
During this meeting, the leaders of the West African organization will discuss the political situation and recent developments in Niger.
