The Prime Minister of the Government of the Transition of Niger, Mr. Lamine Zeine Ali Mahaman, during a press briefing that he hosted in the afternoon of this Saturday July 13, 2024 at his cabinet, reminded Nigeriens of the vision of the President of the National Council for the Safeguarding of the Fatherland (CNSP), Head of State, Brigadier General Abdourahamane Tiani.This vision, which has been in effect since July 26, 2023, is based on four (4) strategic axes around which the actions to be carried out during this transition for the rebuilding of the State, the redefinition of our social act and politics and the happiness of all Nigeriens.These include strengthening security and social cohesion; the promotion of good governance; the development of production bases for economic sovereignty and finally the acceleration of social reforms.It is this vision, we note, detailed in a document entitled ''For Niger'', that the Prime Minister made available to the valiant people of Niger while awaiting the asses sment of the year 1 of the head of the 'State.Regarding the first, namely the strengthening of security and social cohesion, the Prime Minister indicated that this axis is essentially based on the mobilization of efforts to face the threat of terrorism and also on cohesion social through the discourse of bringing Nigeriens together around a common ideal that of belonging to the same country and the awakening of the nation builder who sleeps in each Nigerien.For axis 2, that relating to the promotion of good governance, the Prime Minister announced that all authorities work in compliance with ethics which is essential when managing public affairs, "good governance would like us to insist on the use of public resources, as a good father and by reassuring the population on which the tax contributions are made.Regarding axis 3, namely the development of production bases for economic sovereignty, Mr. Lamine Zeine said that from the start the Head of State has ensured that work is done to allow the population to having production spaces 'which has started to be done by ONAHA for example and discussions with all partners to redirect investments in areas of production', he underlined.As for the 4th axis "the instructions have been given for months so that we work to first review the functioning of our administration, to place particular emphasis on training issues and also to work on looking at the programs, including the school programs,' said the Nigerien Prime Minister.'Satisfying the basic needs of the populations is the pivot of this vision of General Tiani,' noted Mr. Lamine Zeine. In his speech the Prime Minister indicated that they have two objectives on which they are working with conviction, these are in particular social justice and the good management of public money "It is important that we improve the behavior of justice towards citizens and we are committed to it and we will do everything to ensure that it produces results' he promised.The Prime Minister's intervention also highlighted the full resumption of bilateral and multilateral economic and financial cooperation "with all these partners, we are revisiting the various agreements to take into account what we must do so that this reaches the populations" , he suggested.Lamine Zeine Ali Mahaman also testified to the clarity of this vision of the Head of State that his government has been helping to implement for almost months.He finally invited all compatriots to imbibe the content of the vision of the Head of State for a new Niger so that together we bequeath to future generations a prosperous country, at peace and maintaining with its neighbors and the rest of the world of relations of fraternity and solidarity.Source: Burkina Information Agency
