Ouahigouya: For the second consecutive time, the efforts of several staff members of the Ouahigouya Regional University Hospital (CHUR) were recognized and rewarded at the 2nd edition of the Excellence Award held Tuesday in Ouahigouya. The awards ceremony was chaired by the Minister of Health, Dr. Robert Kargougou.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the event emphasized the commitment of the CHUR staff to providing quality health services. The head of the Ouahigouya University Hospital, Simplice Eric Bonkoungou, highlighted the importance of this day as a chance to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of the staff throughout the year 2024. He encouraged them to continue their efforts with renewed motivation.
The Minister of Health, Dr. Robert Kargougou, stated that this celebration honors the excellence of medical and paramedical practices and recognizes the unwavering dedication of the teams in safeguarding public health. He commended the scientific precision, care, and professional integrity of the hospital staff.
Sayouba Sawadogo, the representative of the Minister of Economy and Finance, noted that the recognition of the awardees is a testament to their continuous investment, genuine commitment, and profound passion for their profession. Certificates of appreciation, along with monetary and in-kind donations, were presented to active staff, retirees, and partners of the CHUR.
