Cape Town: Pan African Visions (www.PanAfricanVisions.com) magazine is proud to release a special edition titled *AEW at 5 - From Vision to Global Energy Leader*, marking the fifth anniversary of African Energy Week (AEW).
According to African Press Organization, AEW was launched by the African Energy Chamber in 2021 and has grown into Africa's largest energy event, generating billions in potential deals and attracting top global industry leaders, policymakers, and investors to Cape Town each year. NJ Ayuk, Executive Chairman of the AEC, emphasized that Africa has the resources, talent, and vision to lead, stating that AEW has demonstrated to the world what Africa is capable of achieving.
The special edition features prominent figures in the energy sector, including South Africa's Gwede Mantashe, Jean-Richard Itoua championing Congo's energy future, and Nigeria's President Tinubu's energy vision. It also highlights Foday Mansaray's roadmap to Sierra Leone's first oil, Omar Ibrahim Farouk's strategic vision for the African Energy Bank (AEB), and Dietsmann's efforts in expanding Africa's energy footprint.
The edition includes profiles of leading energy actors such as Wale Tinubu of OANDO, Maxime Ominga of SNPC, and Vermer Ayukeba, Vice President of the AEC. It also offers interviews with key figures like Nikki Martin of EnerGEO and Jude Kearney of Asafo, providing deep insights into AEW's impact and Africa's strategic role in the global energy transition.
