Passor© Authorities Extend Warm Welcome to Prime Minister Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ou©draogo

Yako: Administrative, religious, and customary authorities in Passor© extended a warm welcome to Prime Minister Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ou©draogo during his stopover in Yako on Thursday. The Prime Minister was en route to Dourou, a village in the commune of Kirsi, to partake in the official ceremony marking the flooding of the irrigated area at the Oumarou Kanazo© dam.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Head of Government arrived early in Yako, accompanied by a substantial ministerial delegation. He paid a courtesy visit to the local authorities, acknowledging their role and significance in the province. The visit was seen as a gesture of respect and consideration for the people of Passor©, as articulated by the High Commissioner of Passor©, Daouda Sangar©.

The Prime Minister's stopover was more than a mere formality, as the High Commissioner highlighted the importance of this visit. He noted that it honors all constituent bodies of the province and demonstrates the government's commitment to building a peaceful nation. The visit was also an opportunity for local authorities to express their support for the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, by extending their blessings.
