Passor: The constituted bodies of the Passor© province planted 26 plant species on Saturday 2025, at the residence of the provincial authority, on the occasion of the official launch of the 7th edition of the National Tree Day (JNA), with a view to strengthening the greenery in this place.

According to Burkina Information Agency, a total of 26 plant species were planted on Saturday, June 21, 2025 by the constituted bodies of the Passor© province, at the residence of the High Commissioner, during the official launch of the 7th edition of the National Tree Day (JNA). These species include moringa, mango, and papaya trees, among others.

Through this operation, the constituent bodies responded to the initiative called "One Hour of Patriotism to Green Faso," inviting every Burkinabe citizen to plant a tree of their choice throughout the country.

The High Commissioner of Passor© province, Sangar©, has pledged to maintain the trees planted in his residence until the end of his mission in the locality. "Let everyone do the same, because without maintenance this patriotic day will have no benefit," he urged.

Mr. Sangar©, satisfied with the mobilization of the participants, invited each decentralized service in the province to plant trees in their workplace. He also welcomed the mobilization and invited them to make this activity a success in their services and their households.
