Prime Minister Engages with Dj´r´ Region Authorities to Address Key Issues

Gaoua: Prime Minister Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ou©draogo held crucial meetings with administrative and military authorities in Gaoua, Dj´r´ region, focusing on major regional challenges, governance, and security. These discussions aimed to enhance territorial governance effectiveness and strengthen the security response.

According to Burkina Information Agency, during the first meeting, Governor Siaka Barro expressed gratitude for the Prime Minister's attentiveness to local realities. He reiterated support for the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, and the Prime Minister's efforts, emphasizing public policy backing, especially on national sovereignty and community development.

Governor Barro also highlighted the population's expectations, particularly the completion of the Regional University Hospital Center (CHRU) in Gaoua. He expressed hope that the Prime Minister's visit would accelerate the project's delivery, envisioning Gaoua as a medical hub drawing patients from cities like Ouagadougou and Bobo-Dioulasso.

The second meeting centered on the Defense and Security Forces, with Lieutenant Colonel Lassan© Porgo, commander of the 2nd military region, reaffirming the troops' commitment to national stabilization. He emphasized the need for cohesion between the forces and civilians and assured that troop morale remains high, with a steadfast commitment to protecting the nation.

Through these discussions, the Prime Minister reinforced the Government's commitment to participatory governance focused on citizens' expectations.
