Raising the Colors Ceremony Highlights Customs’ Role in Koudougou

Koudougou: The main office of the first category customs of Koudougou hosted a significant event this Monday with the monthly ceremony of raising the colors. This civic occasion was presided over by Adama Jean Yves B©r©, the interim governor of the Centre-West region, and attended by various constituted bodies of the region.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Deputy Head of the Koudougou Customs Office expressed gratitude to the regional authorities for selecting their institution for this ceremony. He used the platform to commend the fighting forces and highlight the essential missions and responsibilities of the customs services, focusing on their vital role in the nation's life.

The acting governor praised the collective effort in launching the reforestation campaign and National Tree Day, which has led to the region's high national ranking. He also acknowledged the education sector for its achievements in recent examinations.

A notable aspect of Mr. B©r©'s address was his commendation of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP). He recognized their efforts in maintaining security and their dedication to the territory.
