Bazega: The regional director of preschool, primary and non-formal education of Nazinon, Adama Congo, on Monday called on education stakeholders to remain faithful to traditional values and maintain the spirit of excellence for a sovereign and prosperous Burkina. "Let us remain attached to our traditional values and keep the flame of excellence alive for a sovereign and better Burkina," urged the regional director during the solemn raising of the national colors.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Congo took the opportunity to congratulate and encourage all those involved in education in the province. The provincial directorate of preschool, primary, and non-formal education of Bazega was the place of convergence for administrative staff and teachers of the city of Kombissiri, this Monday, October 6, 2025, for the solemn raising of the national colors.
The Basic Education actors, mostly dressed in traditional outfits, sang the national anthem, "Le Ditanye," in chorus in the presence of the regional director in charge of Basic Education of Nazinon, Adama Congo. This ceremony testifies to the love and commitment of the province's education stakeholders for the motherland, Burkina Faso.
"I feel immense pride to see you gathered, engaged and proudly dressed in traditional outfits, strong symbols of our national identity," said the provincial director of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education (DPEPPNF) of Bazega, Claude Ouedraogo. He highlighted that "Faso danfani and Koko donda" embody cultural values, sovereignty, and the desire to promote "made in Burkina."
The strong mobilization for the raising of the colors is part of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JNEPPC).
