Dorossiamasso: The inhabitants of Dorossiamasso in the Satiri commune raised concerns about the critical condition of their dam. This alert, issued on Sunday, July 6, 2025, highlighted the advanced degradation of the hydro-agricultural infrastructure crucial to the region.According to Burkina Information Agency, in response to the alert, the National Office of Dams and Hydro-Agricultural Development (ONBAH) dispatched a team on Monday, July 7, to assess the situation and initiate emergency repairs. The work commenced on Saturday, July 12, 2025, and concluded just two weeks later, much to the relief of the local community.The dam, with a storage capacity of about one million cubic meters, plays a vital role in supplying several villages with water needed for market gardening and animal watering. The swift response and completion of repairs have ensured the continued availability of these essential resources.
