The tenth edition of the Andreï Stenine International Competition for Young Photographers is open to all photographers in the world, including those from the African continent. Photography professionals aged 18 to 33 are invited to submit their applications until March 15 on the website: https://stenincontest.com/'Ten years after the disappearance of Andreï Stenin, the Sputnik photo correspondent, killed in Donbass during an attack by the Ukrainian army, the tenth international competition bearing his name began on December 22 in Moscow,' announced the head of the Andreï Stenin competition, Oksana Oleinik.This event, organized by the Rossiya Segodnya news agency under the aegis of the UNESCO Russian Affairs Commission, celebrates the talent of young photojournalists.She stressed that the high level of expertise of the photographers invited to be part of the jury, as well as the growing public interest in the competition in the cities and countries where the winners' works are presented, testify to the r eputation of the 'event.This year, something new was introduced with the 'View from Above' category, giving participants the opportunity to explore never-before-seen perspectives through a variety of shooting devices, from traditional cameras to modern drones.'The unusual nature of the shots and subjects is the main criterion for evaluating the photos participating in the new nomination,' added Oksana Oleïnik.As for the other categories 'News', 'My planet' and 'Portrait.
