Sabou: Governor Inspects New Water and Sanitation Infrastructure

Sabou: The Governor of the Nando region, Adama Jean Yves B©r©, conducted a field visit to the commune of Sabou, in the province of Boulkiemd©. This monitoring mission took him successively to the Dour© water tower and the Koup©la latrines, built as part of a project to improve access to drinking water and sanitation.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the governor expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the projects, noting that the works align with the authorities' expectations and the actual needs of the populations. He expressed gratitude to the technical and financial partners and their donors for their commitment to the local communities.

The governor also emphasized the importance of responsible usage and maintenance of the infrastructure by the beneficiary populations to ensure its sustainability and the improvement of their living environment. The local communities, who were actively involved in the event, expressed their satisfaction and called for increased support to sustain these achievements.

The infrastructure projects were funded by a consortium of technical and financial partners, including the European Union, APRIL, IRC, and OXFAM, aimed at strengthening the resilience of rural communities.
