Sangui© High Commission Reviews NGO ASMADE Projects and 2025 School Performance

Sangui©: The Sangui© High Commission hosted the second ordinary session of the Provincial Consultation Framework (CCP) on Thursday, focusing on the initiatives of the NGO ASMADE and the province's school performance for the year 2025. The session, chaired by the High Commissioner of the province, Talari Germaine Ouoba, was an opportunity for development actors to collaborate and harmonize their efforts.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the High Commissioner commended the NGO ASMADE for its substantial contributions to the province. The organization is actively working on nearly nine projects that span various sectors, including education, health, agriculture, the environment, and citizen participation. Jean-Urbain Kombass©r©, the coordinator of ASMADE, emphasized their impact in municipalities such as R©o, Zamo, T©nado, Kordi©, and Didyr, with notable advancements in food security, sanitation, soil regeneration, and income-generating activities.

The session also provided a detailed examination of the province's school results for 2025. Rasmata GrSce Guingan©, the provincial director of secondary education, reported a 48.75% success rate in the BEPC, earning the province the first place regionally, a 67.7% success rate in the baccalaureate, securing the second place, and the third place in the CEP. She advocated for the establishment of a vocational high school to enhance educational accessibility for young people.

Bapian Yo, the provincial director of preschool, primary, and non-formal education, announced a significant achievement with an 82.14% success rate in the CEP, an increase from 76.35% the previous year. However, he highlighted challenges such as the lack of rolling stock for supervisors and the pressing need for additional infrastructure to alleviate overcrowding.

At the conclusion of the meeting, stakeholders made commitments to bolster the education system and implement previous recommendations. Future plans include organizing a day of excellence to recognize and encourage outstanding achievements in education.
